red squares, poppies, & rows

I love it when I finally use a piece of fabric that has been sitting in the drawer for years. I know I bought the sky blue strips with rows of petals because I loved it, but compared to some other pieces I had, it seemed dull. After pairing it with the perfect interior and right pattern...it is now loved again. I also love that there is extra space in my drawer.

perfect little pouch

orange blossoms makeup bag, but of course optional for holding other accessories. I have a stack of these little bags to get through and can't wait to show them to you. Most of them have a touch of RED , which feels holiday-ish. Ho! Ho! Ho!

swirls

Red. Perfect splash of color when needed. This one reminds me of candy canes, poinsettias, and everything Christmas.

black damask purse

Black & white damask fabric....I have used it several times and I never get sick of it. Classy, simple, gorgeous fabric that will never go out of style. Thanks Mr. Dewberry for your designing eye.

halloween costumes

This year I decided to make my kids' costumes, which may be the last. It certainly wasn't any cheaper, but my boys loved their get-up. Introducing.... (I know I was laughing at the same thing..the antennas are as big as her head)

special day chair

Found this 'special day' chair cover on nannygoat and knew I had to have one for our special days. It was a fun project for an evening without my hubby.

creativity tag surprise

Look what I received in the mail a few weeks ago from the most talented person I know. She taught me everything I know about thread, fabric, Ms. Bernina, etc, etc. You guessed it...my Mom made these amazing pillows made from wool sweaters purchased at the D.I. (Goodwill). Thanks Mom! It looks perfect in my living room.
